New Life International is a non-profit charitable organization; its purpose is to improve the lives of Orphan children in Ghana especially central region. Our prime focus is to prepare an atmosphere conducive for the development of orphans / vulnerable / needy children in our society.

Their survival and growth forms a major part of our developmental programs.  (NLI) selects projects in the neediest sections of the a growing child in order to better the human capacity of the child through improved living conditions, education, healthcare, and recreational programs.  New Life International was established under the leadership of Ms Ruby Ayivorh (a retired Nurse) in the year 1998 and she remained the Founder and the Director of this great institution from the year of its establishment (May, 1998) to December 2005 and was taken over by a co-founder Mr. Derrick F. Gaisie.

 I have had the privilege and pleasure of working closely with the Founder, who was able to instill in me her same principles and desires to make NLI a better place for the many impoverished children of our society; and to remember that only through the kindness and generosity of our supporters, we have been able to provide this much needed assistance to the children enrolled on our school and "Home". We operate exclusively as a charitable organization with the assistance of other non-profit organizations, specifically with those who share common aspirations with us and have rich experiences in the area of child development, education, medical care, "volunteer management "and Ghanaian cultural dance patterns.

Our collaborations go beyond our borders and are extended to civil society especially "child oversight authorities" in Ghana.  We have been able to establish a school which has been privately registered and charitable in nature to help provide the children under our care with the opportunity to rise above their circumstances in the area of having access to quality education to be able to contribute their quota to the development of mother Ghana.

NLI currently oversees two institutional structures namely: New Life International children's home and New Life Preparatory school, now NEWNESS PREPARATORY SCHOOL. The school is privately run by the board and has been registered with Ghana Education Service and with the number: Kg-ccm/pkg/41, Primary-cc/pp/35.

New Life International as an organization assumed legal status in the year 1998 by company's code 1963 (Act 179) with registration No: G3197 and since the above company is offering humanitarian services, registered with Social welfare Department of Ghana with registration No 1395.
